A letter from Christine, Team Noah Foundation President and Noah’s Mom
“As a foundation, this is a milestone year for us. This is our 5th year as a functioning foundation. Yesterday also marked our 5th time hosting our very successful wine tasting (we’re thankful for everyone who came out to support us) and in 5 short days, will make one year since I had to say goodbye to my little boy. It’s been a very hard year to say the least.
I know that we tend to talk a lot about what we as a foundation have done in Noah’s name, but this time I want to focus on its heart and soul, my little boy. For those of you that follow these posts, you may have noticed how much I love to brag about him as any parent does about their children.
My Noah IS a gift, I say is because he continues to influence everything I do. I try to make him as proud as he has made me. He is Team Noah! God sent him to Earth with a mission to accomplish and I personally think that he has surpassed it. I couldn’t have asked him to do more than he managed to do in his 14 short years. He fought, he overcame, he loved and he most definetly earned his wings.
He was faithful to God’s plan until the end and so must I. He is my heart and will continue to be the heartbeart of his foundation.
As of today, we along with your help have raised a total of roughly $900,000 which we have so proudly donated back to our community at need. Our mission is and always will be to help children and families of specials needs and/or medically fragile children. We have donated a van to The Schwartz Center at Meeting Street, our very first donation. We have also built modified home environments for four other families.
Now focusing on raising 1.4 million dollars to build our biggest project yet, Noah’s Place Playground, an all abilities playground in Pope’s Island Marina. I’m so proud to say that with your help we are half way there!
Thank you for your continued support,
