Celebrating the First Recipient of the Team Noah Foundation Humanitarian Award: Carol Almeida
The Team Noah Foundation is proud to present our very first Humanitarian Award to a truly extraordinary woman — Carol Almeida (shown right).
For the past 40 years, Carol has dedicated her life to the children and families of the Schwartz Center for Children, where she has been the heart and soul of the school. Working alongside founder Agnes Raposa until her passing, Carol carried forward Agnes’ vision and legacy with compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication.
Carol’s work has gone far beyond a career — it has been a calling. She has given her love, energy, and spirit to countless children and families, shaping lives and creating a community built on care and hope. To all of us — parents, children, and staff alike — Carol is the Schwartz Center. Her commitment embodies everything this special school stands for.
Because of Agnes’ love for her own child, she inspired other parents to fight, to dream, and to believe in what is possible. And because of Carol’s devotion, we will always strive to carry even a fraction of the strength and love she has shown us all.
Carol, words cannot truly express our gratitude. You have left an indelible mark on the Schwartz Center and on every life you’ve touched. We love you, we celebrate you, and we wish you nothing but joy as you begin this new chapter of retirement.
Congratulations, Carol — and thank you for showing us the true meaning of humanitarian spirit.
