Amalia’s Project

Every Team Noah project is powered by a commitment to making life a little easier for families who need it most. Today, we’re spotlighting Amalia’s Project—a meaningful transformation made possible by an incredible team of partners, donors, and volunteers.

This project went beyond a single improvement, it created a safer, more accessible environment for Amalia and her family. The home, located in New Bedford, now features a newly excavated and paved asphalt driveway, along with a custom-built deck and installed chair lift, making it easier to navigate the home and enjoy everyday moments with greater independence. What may seem like a series of upgrades has made a tremendous impact on their daily life.

We extend our sincere thanks to:

  • Able Asphalt for their outstanding work on the excavation and installation of the new asphalt driveway. Their professionalism and care set the foundation—literally—for this project.

  • LER for providing the concrete work that helped complete the space

  • MV Electric for installing and hooking up the chair lift outlet, ensuring the lift is fully functional and ready for use.

  • Dartmouth Building Supply for their generous donation of all materials, a contribution that played a critical role in bringing this project to life.

A special thank you goes out to our dedicated building team, Mike Mendonca, Edson Pereira, and Fernandes Masonry for their craftsmanship, time, and commitment to making this project a success.

And of course, none of this would be possible without the continued support of our donors. Your generosity fuels every project we take on and allows us to keep showing up for families like Amalia’s.

We were honored to reveal our 2025 grant recipients at our 13th Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser, a night that celebrates the impact of this incredible community.

Follow along for our next story and see how your donations continue to make projects like this possible.

Thank you for being part of it!
